As a kid, I didn't have any interest, but as an adult (who still has all her teeth, I feel compelled to add) I really prefer not having the corn all over my face or stuck in my teeth. It never occurred to me that corn could/should be eaten raw, so this coleslaw sounds wonderful. And I happen to have all the ingredients right here. Thanks! I really like this - I am swimming in cabbage and corn right now (and tomatoes and peppers and okra - what the heck am I supposed to do with all that okra) so this really appeals. I can't agree more about raw corn -- I used to have an ear of raw corn as an afternoon snack at my office job and the attorneys would all look at me strangely. They don't know what they're missing!
