I love gardening posts! I can't wait to see yours throughout the season. We're taking another shot at container gardening this year since our soil is just not garden friendly (then again, our entire area isn't garden friendly!)

Oooo. We have similar interests currently. I am glad to find another blogger with a blueberry bush. They were planted in the yard when we moved in and I am not sure what I am going to need to do to keep them healthy and hearty.
I LOVE reading up on your garden posts, btw. A few years ago I found your blog and it motivated me to create a container garden on our old balcony. Now that we have moved I have two raised garden beds (4 x 8 ft) and then several spots in the yard that I fully plan on taking advantage of. Your blog has been a great inspiration to me....not to mention I have learned a lot from you.

Oh, how fun! I'm in Zone 9 and this year is my first semi-garden (as in I went beyond tomatoes and herbs) so far so good. I'll be incredibly jealous this summer when you get to eat all the great fresh produce from the garden and our gardening season will be over until fall.

Oh, glorious spring... How nice that you can start some of your plants already. Up here on the Zone 4/5 border, we aren't quite ready for that. Sigh. (Just to be clear, my neighbors have the big garden, I am just the one who listens to them talk about the garden and nods my head at the appropriate intervals so that they think I know what they are talking about...)
Cats are totally like that. They make you think they are just too cool to be interested in anything mortal, but I swear they see all :-)

I loved this! My best friend and I went to buy our tomato seedlings yesterday as we do each year at Tomatomania. Although I have grown them from seeds before, I haven't been very successful so stick to the seedlings. Wish I had the space you do. The cat photo is priceless.
